The “Korysni” Charitable Foundation is a group of volunteers united by a common goal – to make Ukraine strong!

Before the foundation was created, each of us was engaged in separate volunteer activities: someone helped internally displaced persons, someone helped the Armed Forces of Ukraine, someone worked with children …

Among our volunteers there are people who became IDPs themselves in 2014 and experienced this “hell”, so they know the needs of people who lost their homes as a result of the war better than anyone else.

Most of our volunteers started their activities back in 2014, while some joined the volunteer activity later. Therefore, on 24 February 2022, we knew exactly what to do – the experience of previous years of volunteering came in handy. Once again, we had to dress the guys, buy them shoes, armour, helmets, medical supplies, restore the technical base, etc.

Once again, we had to organise caravans of volunteer assistance. We also helped other volunteer organisations unload and distribute foreign aid to the IDPs.

We spend our own money to buy the aid, and some of it has been and is provided by friends and acquaintances, as they know that the money will be used exclusively for the needs, to the last penny!

Of course, the needs of 2014-2021 and the needs of today are vastly different, and the current volumes of assistance have increased significantly. Therefore, it was an inevitable and natural process for us to create a charitable organisation.

Today, the Charitable Foundation has two areas of activity: “Support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine” and “Help to IDPs”. The war is on and the need for help is permanent. After the closure of the causes, a new one is opened and if the funds raised are more than planned, the balance is automatically transferred to the next causes.

Separate accounts have been opened for each area of activity (in UAH, EUR and USD). This way, everyone who wants to help can choose the direction of assistance and be sure that the funds will be spent as intended, because each account is subject to a separate report!
